Tundra Swan
At Fourth Generation Outfitters we specialize in North Carolina Guided Swan hunting. North Carolina plays a vital role in the yearly cycle of the Eastern Population of tundra swans, wintering more swans, by far, than any other state on the East Coast. Each fall, approximately 65,000 - 75,000 swans migrate to northeastern North Carolina to take advantage of the abundant food sources. North Carolina is becoming a true trophy hunter's paradise for Swan. North Carolina waterfowlers harvest more tundra swans than any other state. The chances are plentiful to obtain the Swan of your choice. North Carolina holds 5,000 permits for use by both residents and non-residents.

The permits are awarded by a lottery. Hunters must apply between August 1st and October 1st. You can apply by contacting the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission , or apply anywhere that sells North Carolina hunting licenses. A Snow Goose or Duck hunt can also be combined with a Swan hunt. Swan and Goose hunts are generally hunted over fields, whereas Duck and Swan hunts are over the Currituck Sound. Currently Fourth Generation Outfitters has over 20,000 acres of fields to hunt. We have a 100% success rate for Swan kills!
