Whitetail Deer
All deer hunts are done on private lands. Our stands vary from ladder stands to enclosed heated box stands. Stand heights vary from 4 - 15 feet. Some stands are baited since baited deer stands are legal in North Carolina. They are placed over food plots, hardwoods, pine thickets, fields, and swamps.
We are currently on the Quality Deer Management Association program. Fourth Generation Outfitters is trying to ensure we will always have quality Whitetail bucks on our property. Therefore whitetail bucks must be a minimum of 6 points or more to be eligible for taking. Each hunter is allowed 1 whitetail buck and 1 doe per 3-day hunt. Each hunt includes field handling, cleaning and transportation to and from stands.
